Durham Students' Union represents over 16,000 students studying at Durham University. The University has two campuses - Durham City and Queen's Campus (located in Stockton) - and is one of the top universities in the UK. It has a distinctive collegiate structure which includes 16 colleges (14 Durham City, 2 Queen's Campus) and 15 junior (undergraduate) and one graduate common rooms. Each common room is, in effect, a small independent students' union.
Durham Students' Union acts as a unified voice on campus and leads on issues such as academic representation and the provision of facilities. We run one of the most successful RAG operations (DUCK) and have over 200 societies, which complement a similar number of college/common room societies.
DSU is a trading name of Durham Students' Union, a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales. The registered address is Dunelm House, New Elvet, Durham, DH1 3AN.
